| Virginia Renaissance Festival '09 |
| Above is mid week before opening weekend my oh so talented and hard working husband is building me a platform for this year (and years to come) to keep us somewhat level and out of the mud... and ohmygosh... was it nice to have this platform. Below you can see my booth all set up, my second home for the next 5 weeks. We also rolled some cut logs into the little nook between the winery and my booth for people to sit - and they did - but here you see a picture of a guardian dragon guarding some beautiful princesses. I love the grove because it is cooler and of course the trees lend itself to my theme- and how perfect are the two trees directly in front of my space?! I am next to the winery across from the stage so we get entertained all day - what more could you want? The sacrifices are that it gets more muddy because the water runs down hill (platform) and it takes alot longer to dry out and there are ALOT more bugs, but most are harmless. |
